In a chilling incident, a resident of Minnesota recounts feeling scared and humiliated after immigration agents burst into his home armed, handcuffed him, and pushed him outside into the snow clad only in shorts and Crocs.

ChongLy Thao, 56, known as Scott, is a naturalized citizen who immigrated from Laos as a child. He achieved U.S. citizenship years ago.

This event occurred on a Sunday evening during a neighborhood operation. Thao was at home when officers forcibly entered through his front door. He attempted to retrieve his ID but was denied the opportunity to dress appropriately before being taken outside.

To shield himself from the bitter cold, Thao wrapped himself in a blanket belonging to his grandson, yet the extreme conditions made the situation harrowing. Images of the incident quickly spread online, igniting a surge of public concern and debate.
