Microsoft has officially launched Xbox Cloud Gaming in India, allowing gamers to stream Xbox titles without needing a console. With a compatible device and a reliable internet connection, players can access a vast library of games from the cloud.

Game Plans for Every Player

The service is available with Xbox Game Pass subscriptions. The Essential tier is priced at Rs. 499 monthly, which includes over 50 games and multiplayer features. The Premium and Ultimate tiers are available at Rs. 699 and Rs. 1,389 respectively, with the Ultimate plan offering early access to new releases. PC users can opt for the PC Game Pass at Rs. 939 per month.

Play on Any Device

Players can enjoy gaming on PCs, Macs, smartphones, tablets, and select smart TVs including those from Samsung, LG, and Amazon Fire TV. To start streaming, they simply need to open a compatible browser or the Xbox app, log in, pair a compatible controller, and dive into gaming. Supported controllers comprise the Xbox Wireless and PlayStation DualSense, and some titles also accommodate touch or keyboard-and-mouse control.

Gaming on Smart TVs Made Simple

For those using smart TVs, players can download the Xbox app, sign in through their Game Pass subscription, connect a Bluetooth controller, and instantly launch cloud games. This feature allows gamers to experience console-level quality on their living room TV without the need to own an Xbox.

The Future of Gaming in India

This rollout signifies Microsoft's efforts in expanding Xbox Cloud Gaming beyond its global beta program, aiming to deliver exceptional gaming experiences to a larger audience in India. The service also enhances performance for Windows-based handheld gaming devices like the ROG Xbox Ally, contributing to a smoother portable gaming experience.
