In 2025, the UAE emerged as a key player in addressing both regional and global challenges. The country took significant steps towards peace in Gaza, condemned the brutal Sudanese civil conflict, and advocated for a resolution led by civilians. It also fostered discussions between India and Pakistan and engaged in de-escalation strategies regarding Israel and Iran, while playing a supportive role in addressing recent issues in Qatar.

Additionally, the UAE has been instrumental in peace negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and these talks extended to the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, resulting in the successful exchange of 4,641 prisoners after 17 rounds of discussions.
