Trump Claims to Have Ended 8 Wars, Strengthened US Economy

Post by : Mina Carter

US President Donald Trump has claimed that during the first 10 months of his second term, he has successfully helped settle eight wars across the world. Speaking about his administration’s accomplishments, Trump said his policies, particularly tariffs, have strengthened the US economy, created jobs, and improved national security.

Trump stated that his administration has secured a record-breaking $18 trillion in investment into the United States. According to him, this investment has led to new factories, higher wages, and faster economic growth. He called “tariffs” his “favorite word” and claimed that his trade policies have encouraged companies to return to America after decades of moving production overseas.

Criticizing the previous administration, Trump described it as “a mess” and highlighted what he called its failures, including open borders, rising crime rates, poor trade deals, and a corrupt federal system. He said that in contrast, his administration has successfully stopped illegal immigration, claiming that no illegal entrants have been allowed into the US during the past seven months of his term.

Trump also announced a special Christmas gift for over 1.45 million military personnel, stating that each service member would receive $1,776 as a “warrior dividend” to honor the nation’s founding in 1776. He described this as a reward for the dedication and sacrifice of the US armed forces.

While Trump has highlighted these achievements, experts have questioned his claim of ending eight wars. Some of the conflicts he cited were actually long-standing diplomatic disputes rather than active wars. For example, the situation between Egypt and Ethiopia over the Nile River was a diplomatic issue, and ongoing conflicts in regions such as the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda continue despite peace agreements facilitated by the US.

Despite doubts about some of his claims, Trump portrayed his second-term agenda as focused on strengthening the economy, restoring national security, and improving America’s global position. He said that his policies are reversing the failures of the previous administration and positioning the United States as stronger than ever before.

Overall, Trump emphasized that tariffs, investments, and strong border policies are central to his strategy, which he believes will ensure economic growth, national security, and global respect for the US.
