Saudi and Syrian Ministers Explore Interior Pavilion at Expo 2025

The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Alkhorayef, alongside Syrian Minister of Economy and Industry, Mohammad Nidal al-Shaar, toured the Ministry of Interior’s pavilion during the third edition of the Made in Saudi Expo 2025. This event runs from December 15 to 17 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, emphasizing the drive to enhance local industries and bolster national capacities in military, technological, and security systems.

Their tour featured an examination of projects aimed at localizing expenditures related to defense and technological systems while championing products and solutions made in Saudi Arabia. Highlights included the Saudi armored vehicle “Al-Dahna”, the electronic platform “Absher”, and the “ASEF II” drone, which plays a role in environmental security and sustainability.

The ministers also evaluated electronic services tailored for citizens, residents, and visitors, showcasing the advancements in digital solutions that enhance access to government services. They reviewed key development initiatives within various security sectors of the ministry, underlining the nation’s commitment to innovation, safety, and efficiency.

This visit reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s dedication to nurturing local industries and advancing sophisticated security and technology solutions. The collaborative discussions with Syrian officials highlighted the significance of regional partnerships and knowledge exchange in areas like defense, environmental stewardship, and digital governance.
