Dubai – Renowned YouTube star MrBeast, or Jimmy Donaldson, has unveiled the “1 Billion Acts of Kindness” initiative, inviting creators everywhere to showcase their philanthropic efforts and social impact projects. This campaign aims to merge individual contributions into a unified global movement, created in partnership with the 1 Billion Followers Summit, and backed by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) alongside the Varkey Foundation.
The campaign encourages participants to submit video entries that highlight their positive actions, whether through local volunteer work, humanitarian aid, or tackling global issues. Submissions are welcomed from November 7 until December 1, and creators should utilize hashtags #1BKindness and #1BillionSummit when sharing their content via the official campaign webpage.
An expert panel will review the entries based on authenticity, narrative quality, creativity, and quantifiable impact. MrBeast will announce the top ten contributors live at the upcoming 1 Billion Followers Summit in Dubai in January 2026. These selected creators will join forces with MrBeast and his team to carry out powerful acts of kindness, documented in a series of videos on his well-followed platform.
Jeff Housenbold, CEO of Beast Industries, stated the transformative potential of social-impact content: “Our work has demonstrated that content focused on social impact can indeed change the world, and this is just the beginning. With this collaboration, we aim to elevate our mission of empowering underserved children and fostering a kinder society.”
Sunny Varkey, Founder of the Varkey Foundation, noted the campaign's emphasis on education, saying, “We intend to honor stories of kindness and creativity, highlighting the various innovative methods through which education can create hope and open new doors.”
Alia Al Hammadi, Vice Chairperson of UAE Government Media Office and CEO of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, voiced her belief in the initiative, asserting, “Content creators focused on social impact possess the unique ability to engender genuine positive changes in communities across the globe.”
The “1 Billion Acts of Kindness” effort aims not only to recognize creators for their inspiring contributions but also to build a worldwide community bound by acts of compassion and creativity. By magnifying these narratives, the campaign aspires to encourage millions to engage in small yet meaningful actions that collectively yield significant outcomes.
Creators, philanthropists, and social advocates are invited to join this initiative that celebrates kindness, community involvement, and global social responsibility.
