The Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) at Dubai South has deepened its partnership with UUDS AERO, marking a significant advancement in the city’s burgeoning aerospace landscape.
As part of this collaboration, UUDS AERO has acquired two additional Code F plots at MBRAH, each capable of housing up to three wide-body aircraft. This expansion is aimed at meeting the increasing regional and global demand for sophisticated aircraft interior solutions, showcasing UUDS AERO’s enduring commitment to establishing Dubai as a key aerospace hub.
In a noteworthy development, MBRAH is set to launch a 40,000-square-metre Cabin Excellence Center within its Airline Manufacturing and Supply Chain Zone. Once operational, this pioneering facility will be dedicated to elite cabin engineering, manufacturing, and innovation—the first of its type in the region—and is expected to solidify Dubai’s role as a global leader in aircraft cabin completion and design.
Tahnoon Saif, who serves as the CEO of MBRAH, expressed that this expanded partnership resonates with Dubai’s broader aviation objectives. He emphasized that the Cabin Excellence Center is a critical achievement that will bolster new industrial capabilities and further the engineering, manufacturing, and innovation ecosystem within the emirate. Saif reaffirmed MBRAH's commitment to providing a world-class environment for global aerospace enterprises.
Gilles Negre, the Founder and Chairman of UUDS AERO, noted that this expansion will significantly boost the company’s operational efficiency. He stressed that the new plots and the impending establishment of the center will enhance UUDS AERO's capacity to deliver advanced cabin completion, modifications, and eco-efficient solutions more effectively. Negre also commended Dubai South for its robust infrastructure, connectivity, and visionary outlook, creating a conducive atmosphere for aerospace innovation.
UUDS AERO operates as a comprehensive aircraft cabin completion and modification center, possessing vital certifications from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) in the UAE. Their services encompass design, certification, manufacturing, maintenance, implementation, and the creation of environmentally friendly aviation solutions.
MBRAH continues to attract top global airlines, private jet operators, maintenance, repairs, and operations (MRO) providers, and aerospace producers. As a free-zone hub within Dubai South, it also includes maintenance facilities, training centers, and educational campuses, reinforcing Dubai’s ambition to emerge as one of the premier aviation and aerospace centers in the world.
