In a thrilling matchup on Friday night, Anthony Davis propelled the Dallas Mavericks to a 119-111 victory against the Brooklyn Nets, scoring 24 points along with 14 rebounds, three steals, and three blocks. Cooper Flagg was a standout with 22 points and eight assists, while Naji Marshall contributed 17 points, Max Christie came off the bench for 15, and P.J. Washington added 13 for Dallas.

On the other side, Michael Porter Jr. delivered an impressive performance for Brooklyn, notching 34 points and sinking six of ten three-pointers, marking his fourth consecutive game with at least 30 points. Danny Wolf added 17 points and showed promise with seven rebounds off the bench, while Nic Claxton recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 boards. Terance Mann scored 12 points, and both Noah Clowney and Tyrese Martin finished with 11 points each.

The contest was competitive, with the Mavericks converting 48.9% of their field goals and hitting 10 of 30 attempts from beyond the arc. The Nets shot at 45.3% overall, including 17 of 39 from long range. With the score knotted at 110, Dallas concluded the game on a strong note with a 9-1 run. Davis accounted for five consecutive points to give Dallas a 104-101 lead before Brandon Williams added another basket. Though Porter tied the game at 110 with a three-pointer with 3:10 left, crucial times from Williams and Davis ensured the Mavericks secured the win.

Flagg's impressive first half, where he scored 18 points, gave Dallas a narrow halftime lead of 65-61, while Porter had 21 points for the Nets. The third quarter wrapped up with a 90-90 tie before Clowney briefly put the Nets in front. Dallas took charge in the final minutes, with Washington sealing the deal with key free throws.

This win marks the Mavericks' fifth victory in their last six games, showcasing remarkable team play and standout performances from Davis and Flagg, while the Nets continue to lean on Porter’s scoring prowess.
