Sirsa, Haryana, November 29, 2025 – A startling event unfolded in Sikanderpur village as a 25-year-old man is accused of murdering his mother and her neighbour, as per police reports released on Friday. The suspect, known as Raj Kumar, allegedly discovered his mother, Anguri Devi, 42, in an “inappropriate situation” with the 55-year-old neighbour, Lekh Raj, within their home.
On the night between Thursday and Friday, following the tragic events, Raj Kumar reportedly drove the bodies to the local police station in his pickup and handed himself over to law enforcement. As stated by police officials, the suspect confessed to the crime, claiming he used a piece of cloth to strangle both individuals.
A senior police figure, who wished to remain anonymous, revealed, “The accused acknowledged that family members had advised his mother to break off the relationship with Lekh Raj, but she persisted in the affair for around 15 years.”
Subsequently, the bodies were sent for autopsy, with Raj Kumar facing charges connected to the dual homicides. Investigations are currently active, aiming to clarify the details of this distressing occurrence.
