Completing two weeks in cinemas, the film has amassed a staggering Rs 460.25 crore, firmly placing it among the biggest Bollywood blockbusters of recent times. With daily collections staying consistently strong, the film is now racing towards the coveted Rs 500 crore milestone.
Released on December 5, Dhurandhar opened to an impressive response across India, driven by strong advance bookings, festive footfalls, and positive audience feedback. The film recorded a powerful Rs 103 crore opening weekend, collecting Rs 28 crore on Friday, Rs 32 crore on Saturday, and peaking at Rs 43 crore on Sunday.
The momentum continued during weekdays, highlighting the film’s exceptional hold at the box office. Monday added Rs 23.25 crore, followed by Rs 27 crore on Tuesday. With steady collections of Rs 27 crore on both Wednesday and Thursday, the first-week total closed at Rs 207.25 crore, a rare achievement for an action-driven release.
The second week proved even stronger, underlining the film’s blockbuster status. Dhurandhar collected Rs 32.5 crore on Friday, followed by a massive jump over the weekend — Rs 53 crore on Saturday and Rs 58 crore on Sunday. Strong weekday performance continued with Rs 30.5 crore on Monday, Rs 30 crore on Tuesday, Rs 25.5 crore on Wednesday, and Rs 23 crore on Thursday, pushing the total to Rs 460.25 crore in just 14 days.
Trade observers point out that the film surpassed its entire first-week collection within the first six days of week two, a feat rarely seen in modern Bollywood. The film has also maintained daily earnings above Rs 24 crore for nearly two consecutive weeks, reflecting robust audience demand and repeat viewership.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar features a powerful ensemble cast including Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi.
