Calgary Flames Draft Two Centres: Reschny and Potter Picked

In the first round of the 2025 NHL Draft, the Calgary Flames made two important picks, choosing young centres Cole Reschny and Cullen Potter to add to their future roster .

Who Are the Players?

  • Cole Reschny, from the Victoria Royals (Western Hockey League), was picked 18th overall. He’s known for his speed, playmaking ability, and strong defensive play. Last season, he notched 92 points in 62 games—including 66 assists, a Victoria Royals record .
