Rock ‘n’ roll fans are in for a thunderous treat as AC/DC, one of the most iconic bands in music history, has announced four Canadian dates as part of its ongoing Power Up world tour. The highly anticipated shows will take place in August and September 2026 across some of Canada’s largest stadiums, with special guest The Pretty Reckless joining the lineup.

The first Canadian stop is set for August 9, 2026, at the 56,400-seat Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton. “Events like this draw in people from across the city, the province and beyond and demonstrate that Edmonton is a concert destination of choice for major artists,” said Heather Seutter, director of the venue.

From there, the Australian rock band will perform at Vancouver’s BC Place on August 13, before heading south for several U.S. shows. The group will return to Canada on September 12 for a massive performance at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal, a venue with a 65,000-person capacity that will also host Iron Maiden just a week prior.

The final Canadian show will take place on September 16 at Rogers Stadium in downtown Toronto.

Tickets for all Canadian performances go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. local time on Ticketmaster.

Formed in 1973 in Sydney, Australia, AC/DC has become one of the most influential rock bands ever, selling more than 200 million albums worldwide. Their breakthrough album, Highway to Hell (1979), propelled them to international stardom, followed by many chart-topping records. The band's current lineup features guitarist Angus Young, vocalist Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug, and bassist Chris Chaney.

Despite changes in the lineup and the loss of co-founder Malcolm Young in 2017, AC/DC continues to electrify global audiences with their signature high-voltage sound. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.
