The maritime industry is integral to the UAE’s economy, contributing over AED 135 billion to the GDP. The country is home to roughly 27,000 maritime enterprises, and its operators manage 106 ports across 78 nations, reinforcing its stature as a crucial hub for global trade.
Regional ports facilitate approximately 60 percent of cargo movement within the Arabian Gulf, distributing over 21 million containers each year. Iconic ports such as Jebel Ali, Khalifa, and Fujairah are now international supply chain centers, integrating cutting-edge digital solutions, AI, and autonomous shipping technologies to boost operational efficiency.
Commitment to Sustainability
