The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) convened the Industrial Resilience and Supply Chain Continuity Forum in Abu Dhabi as a prelude to the fifth edition of Make it in the Emirates 2026 (MIITE).

Scheduled from May 4 to 7, 2026, at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, this significant industrial gathering is hosted by MoIAT, with organization by ADNEC Group, alongside collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Abu Dhabi Investment Office, and ADNOC.

Paving the Way for Industrial Growth

The forum assembled ministers, business leaders, experts, and CEOs to deliberate on enhancing supply chain strength and boosting industrial resilience. It underscored the UAE’s commitment to revitalizing its manufacturing sector and decreasing dependence on imports.

Chaired by Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, the session emphasized that robust local production is fundamental to national stability. He remarked that nations relying heavily on imports face significant vulnerabilities amid global crises.

He stressed that achieving self-sufficiency demands real production capabilities, a skilled workforce, and the availability of high-quality local products. The UAE's goal is to fulfill fundamental needs in food, industry, and pharmaceuticals while welcoming global partnerships.
