In Al Arish, Egypt, the UAE Floating Hospital commemorated Eid Al-Adha by hosting Palestinian patients and their families, part of the humanitarian effort dubbed “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.”
This event fostered a festive atmosphere for individuals undergoing treatment far from home amid the ongoing crisis in Gaza. Emirati medical professionals, administrative staff, and local families participated actively in the Eid celebrations.
During the festivities, the operation sent warm Eid greetings and best wishes to UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, and the Crown Princes.
This humanitarian initiative underscored its commitment to the Palestinian populace by maintaining its efforts focused on relief and mental well-being during the Eid season.
The lavish Eid celebration aimed to instill joy among patients and their families, easing some of the emotional strains experienced while receiving medical care away from their homeland.
Festivities included children's specific events and entertainment programs, and thoughtful gifts were distributed to patients, companions, and children as a reflection of the hospital's humanitarian objectives.
Hospital officials emphasized that the UAE Floating Hospital not only delivers essential medical, surgical, and therapeutic services to injured Palestinians but also prioritizes their psychological and emotional well-being.
Regularly, the hospital organizes recreational and social engagements aimed at uplifting patients’ spirits and facilitating their path to recovery.
