UAE-Chad Forum Enhances Economic Collaborations in Abu Dhabi

On Monday, Abu Dhabi hosted a pivotal economic event as the UAE-Chad Trade and Investment Forum commenced, attracting over 2,000 attendees, including high-ranking officials, investors, and delegates. This forum represents a crucial stride in bolstering trade and economic ties between the UAE and Chad.

During the forum, several memoranda of understanding across essential sectors like infrastructure, energy, agriculture, agribusiness, logistics, and financial services are expected to be signed. The objective is to uncover new avenues for investment, enhance trade, and nurture sustainable partnerships.

Discussions will focus on mineral exploration, renewable and traditional energy initiatives, responsibly driven corporate development, and integrated agricultural and food value chains. Projects involving water, electricity, transportation corridors, and logistics systems including railways, ports, and airlines form part of a comprehensive agenda aimed at cross-border growth.

Digital evolution remains a significant focus, with dialogues around fiber networks, digital solutions, and technology-driven improvements that aim to boost connectivity and operational efficiency. Areas such as human capital development, education, healthcare, tourism, and cultural exchanges were also emphasized to highlight enduring socio-economic cooperation.
