United States President Donald Trump has said that ongoing military strikes against Iran could help reduce global oil prices. Speaking to supporters at an event in Hebron, Kentucky, Trump defended the US military campaign and said the operation would continue until the country achieves its goals. He also said the United States is taking steps to keep global energy supplies stable during the conflict.
During his speech, Trump said the military operation against Iran was necessary to remove threats and protect international security. He explained that the United States was acting strongly to stop what he called a dangerous regime. According to Trump, the military campaign has already caused heavy damage to Iran’s military systems. He said the operation, which he referred to as “Operation Epic Fury,” had been successful so far.
Trump told the audience that in the past 11 days, US forces had weakened Iran’s military power. He claimed that Iran’s air force had been almost completely destroyed. He also said that the country’s radar systems and anti-aircraft defense equipment were no longer working. According to Trump, Iran’s missile ability has dropped sharply, and its drone program has also been badly damaged.
The US President said American forces were also targeting facilities where weapons and drones are produced. Trump stated that factories connected to Iran’s drone program were being destroyed. He said the military campaign was moving quickly and that the United States would not stop until the mission was complete.
Trump also spoke about Iran’s nuclear program during his remarks. He said earlier US operations had significantly weakened Iran’s nuclear capabilities. According to him, the United States had already taken strong action to remove what it saw as a serious threat to global security. Trump insisted that Washington would continue the operation until the objectives were fully achieved.
At the same time, Trump focused on the impact of the conflict on global energy markets. He said the United States and other countries were working together to prevent oil supply problems. Trump told the crowd that the International Energy Agency had agreed to coordinate the release of a large amount of oil from emergency reserves around the world.
According to Trump, about 400 million barrels of oil could be released from national petroleum reserves. He said this step would help increase supply in the global market and could lower oil prices. Trump explained that when more oil becomes available, prices usually fall, which helps consumers and businesses around the world.
Trump said protecting the flow of oil was very important during the conflict. He assured supporters that the United States was working closely with international partners to keep energy markets stable. He added that keeping oil moving across global routes was a top priority for the US government.
The President also spoke about military action against Iranian naval forces. Trump claimed that US forces had destroyed several ships connected to Iranian operations in the region. He said dozens of vessels had been targeted, including ships believed to be involved in placing naval mines in regional waters.
Trump repeated that the military campaign would continue until the United States completes its mission. He said the US would not stop its operations early and would continue until it believes the threat from Iran has been removed.
The conflict has raised concerns around the world because it could affect global oil supply and regional stability. However, Trump said the actions taken by the United States were designed to protect security while also helping stabilise energy markets.
As the situation continues to develop, the world is closely watching how the conflict between the United States and Iran may impact global politics, security, and oil prices in the coming weeks.
