Major MRO Hangar Unveiled by Tim Aerospace at Dubai South

Dubai South, Dubai – Tim Aerospace has rolled out its expansive maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) hangar at the Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH), establishing itself as one of the largest independent facilities in the region. This state-of-the-art facility is capable of housing up to 12 narrow-body or five wide-body aircraft, excluding the A380, as the company aims to enhance its presence in the Middle East.

The opening ceremony featured notable figures from Dubai's aviation landscape, including HE Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South, Tahnoon Saif, CEO of MBRAH, and Timor Shah Shahab, Founder of Tim Aerospace. Industry leaders and airline representatives were also in attendance, underscoring the significance of this new development.

Situated in a prime location within Dubai South, the new hangar is poised to deliver premium, cost-effective aircraft base maintenance services for both passenger and cargo operations. By enhancing operational efficiency and capacity, Tim Aerospace aims to cater to the growing regional demand while upholding stringent safety and reliability standards.

This launch reflects Dubai's ambition to become a pivotal hub for aerospace innovation and operational prowess. MBRAH offers high-level connectivity, a free-zone environment for global aviation stakeholders, and a robust ecosystem that nurtures engineering, maintenance, and training endeavors.
