Sunita Discovers Govinda’s Hospital Stay Through Interview

In a recent vlog, Sunita Ahuja revealed that she learned about her husband Govinda's hospitalisation only after watching his interview online, two days post his discharge from Mumbai's CritiCare Hospital. She was out of town and unaware of the medical incident that occurred late at night.

Govinda’s Emergency Situation

Govinda fainted at home around 1 a.m. earlier this week, necessitating an immediate visit to the hospital. After undergoing multiple tests and receiving medical care, he was released that same afternoon. The actor assured fans upon his exit that he was “completely fine.”

Sunita disclosed that she was disconnected from the events while travelling. Addressing her followers' concerns, she stated,
“Govinda is in excellent health. He was working out for his upcoming film Duniyadaari when the incident occurred.”

‘Over-Exercise Contributed to His Fatigue’

She further mentioned that she only became privy to the situation after watching her husband's interview post-return, learning that fatigue from excessive exercise was the cause of his fainting.
“He’s better now. No need to worry,” she comforted viewers.

Govinda affirmed that the fainting incident was simply due to “fatigue” and recommended that everyone integrate yoga and pranayam into their daily habits.

Sunita Talks About Govinda’s Public Apology

Sunita Ahuja has frequently been in the limelight for her candid remarks about her relationship with Govinda and their marital challenges. In the same vlog, she discussed a recent controversy surrounding her podcast appearance when she shared a personal story using the term “chor.”

In response to the backlash, Govinda apologised publicly to a family priest, an act Sunita disapproved of.

She clarified:
“I didn’t appreciate that Govinda bowed in apology. I didn’t name anyone. I was merely sharing my experience. If my words hurt anyone, I apologise, but Govinda did not need to publicly apologise to anyone.”

Sunita expressed that she felt “very bad” about her husband's public apology stemming from her remarks.

A Private Marriage in the Public Eye

Govinda and Sunita Ahuja tied the knot in March 1987, opting for secrecy to protect his burgeoning career. Their daughter, Tina, was born in 1988, leading to their relationship becoming public knowledge. The duo welcomed their son, Yashvardhan, in 1997.
