Smriti Mandhana-Palaash Muchhal Wedding Hits Uncertain Road

Post by : Mina Carter

Indian cricket star Smriti Mandhana (29) and music composer Palaash Muchhal (30) were set to tie the knot on November 23, but the much-anticipated wedding was postponed indefinitely after health issues struck both families. Smriti’s father was hospitalised first, and shortly after, the groom also fell ill, forcing the couple to delay their celebrations.

In the weeks following the postponement, social media buzzed with rumours of infidelity, particularly after Smriti removed most of her Instagram posts featuring Palaash. The sudden removal of photos fueled speculation that the couple’s relationship may have hit a rough patch.

Adding to the curiosity, the wedding’s event management team recently shared a cryptic message on social media, saying:

"We don't cross the finish line in every match of Life that we play, but it's always the sportsman Spirit that counts... Our team played hard, with Joy & Pride, and they all certainly deserve a Mention! Will see you soon Champion."

The post tagged several professionals involved in the pre-wedding festivities, including choreographers, makeup artists, and stylists, which led fans and followers to speculate about the future of the wedding. Reports about a potential new date, reportedly December 7, were quickly dismissed by Smriti’s brother, Shravan Mandhana, who confirmed that no official wedding date had been decided.

Social media reactions have been mixed. Many fans have expressed support for Smriti, praising her resilience during this challenging period, while others remain puzzled by the event company’s ambiguous message. Amidst the speculation, Palaash was spotted at the Shri Hit Radha Keli Kunj Ashram in Vrindavan, suggesting he has sought spiritual solace, whereas Smriti has remained out of public view, avoiding media interactions.

The indefinite postponement and cryptic social media updates have left fans eagerly awaiting clarity on the couple’s wedding plans. While the situation remains uncertain, the pair continues to receive overwhelming support from cricket fans and followers of Palaash Muchhal’s music.
