A tragic shooting in southern Turkey has resulted in the deaths of six individuals and injuries to eight more, as reported by local news sources citing officials. This violent event occurred on Monday evening in the Tarsus area of Mersin province.

The shooter is believed to have first killed his ex-wife before traveling to a nearby restaurant. There, he reportedly shot and killed the restaurant owner and an employee, continuing his violent spree in the vicinity.

According to local media, three more victims were discovered dead later, including a shepherd and a truck driver found near the scenes of the attack. As of now, authorities have not disclosed the suspect’s identity or the motive behind this heinous act.
