Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the head of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, visited the 5th edition of the Make it in The Emirates 2026 at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi this Wednesday.
This prominent industrial event, organized by ADNEC Group, is held in conjunction with the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology and the Ministry of Culture, along with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office and ADNOC. The theme this year is “Advanced Industry. Emerging Stronger.”
Praising the event's impressive growth, Sheikha Latifa noted how it illustrates the UAE’s determination to become a leading global center for advanced industries and innovation-led economic growth.
She emphasized that the exhibition showcases the UAE leadership's vision of cultivating a sustainable, diversified economy through technology investments, workforce empowerment, and the support of emerging industries. Additionally, she pointed out the UAE's evolution into a key player in advanced manufacturing and innovative industrial solutions.
Sheikha Latifa commended the involvement of national firms, entrepreneurs, innovators, and youth at the event, stating that the UAE is constructing an integrated development framework that effectively converts ideas into successful ventures, fostering innovation, local manufacturing, and the empowerment of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
During her tour, Sheikha Latifa explored numerous exhibition segments, such as The House of Industry, Al Ghadeer Emirati Craft, Advanced Technology Research Council, Theeb Cars, the Ministry of Culture, Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, and Emirates Food Industries.
She received updates on cutting-edge industrial and technological advancements geared towards enhancing local manufacturing, boosting the competitiveness of Emirati products, and fostering national and youth talent across diverse sectors.
Sheikha Latifa was joined by notable figures Maryam Al Hammadi, Huda Al Hashimi, and Hala Badri.
Regarded as the region's largest industrial gathering, this exhibition connects government officials, private sector leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, innovators, financial entities, and industry specialists.
This edition features over 1,245 companies from 12 industrial sectors, with fresh procurement opportunities targeting the localization of approximately 5,000 products in the UAE, and SMEs comprising 61 percent of the total participants.
