In a significant development, the UAE Cabinet, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has sanctioned 3,567 housing resolutions for Emirati citizens for the year 2025. This allocation, totaling AED2.546 billion, represents one of the most extensive annual commitments under the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, emphasizing the nation’s dedication to sustainable housing support for families.
Official data reveals that the 2025 allocations encompass a variety of grants, loans, and financing options tailored to address the diverse needs of citizens. Notably, AED356.3 million has been allocated to 524 grants initiated by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Meanwhile, 623 loans amounting to AED270.2 million and 32 governmental grants valued at AED25.4 million are also included. A significant majority of the decisions, 2,388 housing financing options, total AED1.894 billion.
Q4 of the year witnessed a robust surge, with 599 housing resolutions approved, equating to AED478 million. Among these were two substantial grants from the President valued at AED1.3 million, alongside 31 government loans totaling AED25.2 million and eight grants worth AED6.4 million. As in previous quarters, housing financing decisions were predominant, comprising 558 approvals valued at AED445.1 million.
This ongoing enhancement of housing support is reflective of the UAE’s vision to elevate living standards for Emirati families, ensuring that secure housing is accessible, thus fostering long-term stability within communities.
