On Thursday morning, His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, welcomed the sons of the late Sheikh Abdul Basit Mohammed Abdul Samad at the Holy Quran Academy. During the event, he also unveiled a new smart Quran application titled “Al Moeen”.

This new exhibit features an exclusive collection of photographs and personal artifacts that tell the story of the Sheikh’s illustrious life and his interactions with scholars and dignitaries.

A documentary presentation was also showcased, highlighting the milestones of the Sheikh’s life, his journey with Quranic recitation, and his enduring service to the Holy Quran.

During the tour, His Highness listened carefully to details about exhibits, including copies of the Holy Quran, audio recording devices used by the late Sheikh, personal letters, certification documents from Quranic scholarship, and numerous prestigious awards he received globally.

A demonstration illustrated the app's advanced features, including real-time recitation tracking that employs sophisticated voice recognition technology, which can identify pronunciation mistakes and offer immediate feedback.

The app integrates intelligent memorization modes that formulate personalized study plans based on the user’s skills. It adheres to the Ottoman page layout for precision and consistency with the printed Mushaf.

A Global Resource with Multilingual Support

This app supports smart searching capabilities by text and voice, with a variety of interface languages available, including translations and interpretations in Arabic, English, French, and Urdu, making it accessible worldwide through major app stores.
