His Highness Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Sharjah, has sanctioned the development of a three-lane bridge designed to optimize traffic flow throughout the emirate.

This new bridge will directly link Mleiha Road with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Bridge, precisely at the junction of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street and Mleiha Road. The overall budget for this initiative stands at AED 140 million.

Construction is set to commence immediately, with completion anticipated within the next year.

This bridge is strategically engineered to alleviate traffic congestion in every direction, reportedly slashing travel times by approximately nine minutes, facilitating smoother journeys across one of Sharjah's busiest roadways.

This initiative is a vital part of Sharjah's broader strategy to enhance infrastructure, aiming to improve transportation access for both residents and visitors alike.
