In an impactful event facilitated by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Open Recruitment Day in Al Dhafra region was held to link Emirati job seekers with employment opportunities.
This initiative, organized by the Ruler’s Representative Court in conjunction with Mawaheb Talent Hub, aligns under the theme of “Connecting You With Opportunities.”
Gathering over 25 prominent employers from government, semi-government, and private sectors, the recruitment event welcomed more than 600 job seekers at Majlis Madinat Zayed, where 250+ specialized roles were available.
Organizations such as the Ministry of Education, Abu Dhabi Police, Department of Municipalities and Transport, and ADNOC participated in this important initiative.
Officials emphasized that this effort exemplifies the leadership's dedication to providing job opportunities directly within citizens’ communities, thus breaking down geographical barriers.
His Excellency Nasser Mohammed Al Mansouri, Undersecretary of the Ruler’s Representative Court in Al Dhafra, noted that this event contributes to offering accessible job opportunities that fortify national competitiveness while recognizing the significance of Emirati talent in driving progress across all fields.
His Excellency Ibrahim Nassir, Undersecretary of the Department of Government Enablement (DGE), highlighted that this initiative fosters an AI-native government by connecting Emirati talent with local opportunities. He pointed out that bringing jobs closer to regions like Al Dhafra aligns with Abu Dhabi's long-term digital transformation objectives.
The program aims to decentralize hiring, ensuring that Emirati job seekers from Abu Dhabi City, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra can find opportunities without the need for relocation.
Since its inception in 2023, Mawaheb Talent Hub has successfully trained over 10,000 Emiratis and facilitated more than 6,000 job placements by collaborating with over 90 partners across diverse sectors.
Officials reiterated that the Open Recruitment Day reflects ongoing endeavors to enhance local employment rates and equip national talent for future labor market demands.
