Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) has proudly announced the successful execution of the fourth journey of the Al Mashaaer Al Mugaddassah Metro service, catering to the transportation needs of pilgrims traveling from Muzdalifah to Mina. Operations for this journey commenced at 9:00 AM today.
During this particular trip, SAR facilitated the movement of more than 357,000 pilgrims. This milestone increases the total passenger count across the first four journeys to surpass 961,000.
SAR further confirmed that the fifth journey began at 9:00 AM and is scheduled to continue until 6:00 PM on the 13th of Dhu Al-Hijjah.
The organization elaborated that the comprehensive operational plan for the Al Mashaaer Al Mugaddassah Metro consists of more than 2,000 trips in total. These services are projected to accommodate over two million pilgrims throughout the Hajj season.
