RTA Initiates Scholarship Program for 2026–27 Academic Year Targeting Emirati Students

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has officially opened its Academic Scholarship Programme for the 2026–2027 academic session. This initiative aims to cultivate skilled Emirati talent in cutting-edge fields related to transportation and technology.

The scholarship is designed for exceptional Emirati high school graduates and current university attendees. It provides pathways in essential academic disciplines aligned with Dubai’s ambitious vision for a smart, technological, and eco-friendly transport infrastructure.

Initiated in 2009, this programme plays a crucial role in RTA’s strategy to build a robust pipeline of national talent. It is focused on equipping students for future positions in progressive industries while aiding significant transformation projects within the transport sector.

RTA states that this initiative supports Dubai's objectives to empower young Emiratis and prepare them for pivotal roles in digital evolution and mobility solutions.
