The 8th edition of the Rajasthan Kabir Yatra, India's longest traveling folk music festival, is set to take place from October 1 to 5, 2025. Organized by the Malang Folk Foundation, this year's Yatra will journey through Bikaner and nearby villages, including Kelan, Chhattargarh, Kalu, and Katariasar. The festival celebrates the timeless poetry of mystics such as Kabir, Mira Bai, Bulleh Shah, Amir Khusrau, and Shah Latif, offering a platform for Rajasthan’s folk artists and fostering a sense of community and spiritual reflection.

A Community-Driven Celebration

The Rajasthan Kabir Yatra is not just a festival; it's a traveling spiritual journey where music, storytelling, satsang, and community life come together. Each evening, under the desert sky, the Yatra transforms into a satsang—a space of devotion, reflection, and shared humanity. Hosted entirely by local communities, the Yatra has previously covered over 100 villages across more than 14 districts of Rajasthan, making it a unique, community-driven celebration of cultural revival and unity.
