Priyanka Chopra graced the Varanasi promotional event in Hyderabad, where she conveyed her deep appreciation to Mahesh Babu and his family for their warm hospitality throughout the film shoot. She highlighted how Mahesh’s wife, Namrata Shirodkar, and daughter, Sitara, made her feel entirely comfortable during the experience.

Recently, a delightful behind-the-scenes snapshot from the set emerged, charming fans. Sitara posted the image on her Instagram Stories, celebrating SS Karthikeya’s birthday with the caption, "Happy birthday Karth anna," which Karthikeya re-shared with thankfulness. In the joyful picture, Priyanka stands alongside her mother, with Namrata and Sitara flashing smiles, while Karthikeya completes the cheerful scene to the right.

On the previous day, Priyanka also shared a joyful video of herself dancing with Karthikeya to AR Rahman’s classic hit, "Urvashi Urvashi." She affectionately described him as "the man who quietly holds up the fort," extending her birthday wishes and reflecting on the joyful journey they are sharing.

The much-anticipated film Varanasi, directed by SS Rajamouli, premiered its trailer at the same event, raising significant excitement. Scheduled for a January 2027 release, the film is set to be a grand, time-travel action adventure with profound mythological elements. The trailer begins with an asteroid shattering and landing in Varanasi, Antarctica, Africa, and beyond. The narrative spans centuries, drawing inspiration from themes in the Ramayana.

The trailer's closing image made a powerful impression: Mahesh Babu, in the role of Rudhra, appears drenched in blood, brandishing a trident as he rides a bull against an ancient temple backdrop. Priyanka Chopra takes on the role of Mandakini, while Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the adversary, Kumbha. With its massive scale, rich mythology, and an impressive ensemble cast, Varanasi is poised to be one of the decade's most awaited films.
