Paris Jackson's ongoing legal dispute with the executors of Michael Jackson's estate has faced a notable setback after a Los Angeles court dismissed portions of her petition. The case was handled by retired judge Mitchell L. Beckloff, who served as a referee in the proceedings. He partially rejected Paris Jackson's claims, focusing on the procedural issues rather than disputing the alleged payments outright. The court approved the executors' request to strike certain aspects of her filing and affirmed their right to claim attorney fees. While some of her claims remain active, this ruling signifies a significant procedural hurdle.

A spokesperson for Paris expressed that the decision only touched on technical aspects and did not diminish the essential issues she raised about the estate. They reiterated her commitment to advocating for fairness and accountability within the estate, informing that a revised petition would be filed soon.

The teaser trailer for the upcoming biopic featuring Jackson's nephew, Jaafar Jackson, has garnered significant viewership. Paris has criticized the film, calling its script “dishonest” and highlighting perceived inaccuracies, straining her relationship with the estate's executors further. The film is set to premiere on April 24, 2026.
