Nora Fatehi has emphatically rejected all allegations connecting her to drug parties purportedly hosted by a detained trafficker in Mumbai. Reports suggested that several Bollywood figures, including Dawood Ibrahim's nephew, Alishah Parkar, were allegedly present at these events. In response to these claims, Nora took to Instagram Stories to share her concerns, asserting that the allegations are unfounded and that her identity is being misused.
In her statement, the actress clarified that she does not partake in parties and primarily focuses on her work and travel commitments. She noted that her personal schedule is so packed that it leaves little room for social gatherings, emphasizing that her rare off days are spent either resting, visiting Dubai, or reconnecting with old friends. Nora urged the public not to take stock in unverified claims circulating online and pointed out that similar attempts to tarnish her reputation have occurred before. While she had kept quiet in the past during such situations, she asserted her determination not to remain passive this time.
She also issued a firm warning about the potential consequences of misusing her name or image in matters she is uninvolved in, underscoring her refusal to let her identity be exploited for sensationalist aims.
This controversy arose following statements made by Mohammed Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh, a trafficker currently detained by the Anti-Narcotics Cell in Ghatkopar, after being deported from Dubai. Shaikh purportedly claimed he arranged rave parties for members of the entertainment and fashion sectors, citing names like Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor, and others as attendees, along with mentions of Dawood Ibrahim's nephew at such events.
Authorities have not ruled out questioning the individuals identified during Shaikh's interrogation; however, no formal summons have been issued as the investigation continues into the claims and the alleged drug-related network.
