On the occasion of his 71st birthday, famed actor Kamal Haasan welcomed Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and his son, Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, at his home. They were joined by Kamal's elder brother, Charuhasan, for the special celebration.
Kamal shared fond memories on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter), reflecting on his profound connection with the Stalin family. He shared, “Children often maintain a respectful distance from their father’s friends, but my bond with Muthamizharignar (M. Karunanidhi, former CM and MK Stalin’s father) spans nearly three generations, characterized by grandeur and deep respect.”
Photos and videos from the visit highlighted their warm exchanges, including the gifting of a painting as a birthday tribute. Both MK Stalin and Udhayanidhi extended their heartfelt wishes to Kamal on social media.
Recent Achievements and Future Projects
This year, Kamal featured in Mani Ratnam's gangster drama Thug Life, sharing the screen with luminaries like Silambarasan TR, Trisha Krishnan, and Aishwarya Lekshmi. Although the film received mixed reviews, Kamal is active with numerous upcoming projects.
He is producing a film starring superstar Rajinikanth through his production house, Raaj Kamal Films International, set to commence filming soon under the direction of Sundar C, with more details forthcoming.
Furthermore, Kamal is set to star in Indian 3, directed by Shankar, although there are speculations regarding its status following the mixed reception of Indian 2. Recently, it was also announced that Kamal would participate in a film directed by the action duo Anbariv.
