According to reports, Ice Spice, whose real name is Isis Gaston, was sitting with a friend inside the restaurant when a woman entered and approached their table. The woman allegedly attempted to engage in conversation and asked questions, but the situation quickly escalated. Video footage shows the woman moving closer before suddenly slapping the rapper and continuing the confrontation.
The situation turned physical as both individuals became involved in a brief scuffle inside the restaurant. Witnesses reported that the attacker was eventually pulled outside by another person. However, the confrontation did not end there, as another incident reportedly occurred outside the location shortly after.
Following the altercation, Ice Spice was seen speaking with people at the scene. In one part of the footage, a man told her to remain calm and avoid further escalation. The rapper also appeared to confront individuals connected to the attacker as tensions remained high.
In a statement, her lawyer Bradford Cohen said the attack has been reported to the Los Angeles Police Department. He added that legal action will be pursued against those responsible, both criminally and through civil claims. The legal team is also reviewing whether the establishment could be held accountable for security concerns.
The woman involved in the incident has reportedly given a different version of events. She claimed that she initially approached Ice Spice to offer a compliment but alleged that the rapper responded negatively. She admitted to returning to confront Ice Spice again after being escorted out, which led to the second altercation.
Authorities have not yet released an official statement on the case, and it remains under review. No serious injuries have been reported so far.
