In an astonishing showcase of technology, a humanoid robot has outstripped human competitors, establishing a new world record during the half marathon in Beijing.

Engineered with an autonomous navigation system and supported by the Chinese smartphone giant Honor, the robot traversed the 21-kilometer course in a remarkable 50 minutes and 26 seconds. This incredible average speed of approximately 25 km/h eclipsed all human runners in the race.

Notably, the robot's finishing time beat the existing men's half marathon world record of 57 minutes and 20 seconds, held by Ugandan athlete Jacob Kiplimo.

This landmark achievement underscores the swift advancements in robotics and artificial intelligence driven by Chinese developers, heralding an era where machines can compete with and even surpass human endurance capabilities.
