24th Batch of Cadets Graduates from Sharjah Police Academy

Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, presided over the graduation for the 24th group of officer cadets at Sharjah Police Academy, attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi.

The event took place at the academy's University City location, also celebrating university graduates who completed a qualifying programme for the rank of lieutenant. Senior officials, including Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi and Sheikh Dr. Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, along with police leaders and academic figures, welcomed the Deputy Ruler.

Beginning with the UAE national anthem and a Quranic recitation, Brigadier Dr. Mohammed Khamis Al-Othmani, Director of the Academy, articulated that the graduation showcases the UAE's unwavering focus on security, stability, and advancement through knowledge.

He acknowledged that the country's achievements in safety and progress are steered by the vision of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, expressing gratitude for Sharjah's leadership support in enhancing police education and training.

The Academy continuously innovates by incorporating cutting-edge technologies, including artificial intelligence and virtual training systems, to equip future officers with essential theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills to address contemporary security challenges.

During the ceremony, a presentation was shown highlighting the Academy's contribution to developing adept security personnel, followed by a disciplined military parade displaying the cadets' training and readiness.

Top graduates received the esteemed Sword of Honour and recognition of the Parade Commander as the Deputy Ruler commemorated their outstanding achievements. The event also featured the formal handover of the flag, signifying the transition from the 24th to the 25th batch, embodying continuity and accountability.

Graduates took their official oath, signaling the start of their commitment to serving the nation. The gathering concluded with a group photo and certificate distribution by Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police.

The cohort comprised 44 officer cadets completing a thorough four-year curriculum encompassing police sciences, legal studies, and field training. Additionally, 12 graduates finished a specialised programme qualifying them for the lieutenant rank, aimed at enhancing legal knowledge, policing capabilities, and leadership proficiencies.

This milestone reflects the UAE's dedication to fostering a proficient and forward-looking security apparatus.
