Progress Made in Containing Iwate Wildfire After Seven Days

A significant forest fire has been ongoing for seven days in Otsuchi, Iwate Prefecture, and authorities are reporting positive movement towards containment. This incident is regarded as one of the most severe environmental challenges faced by the region in recent years.
