In a significant move for travel enthusiasts, Saudi Arabia’s rapidly expanding budget airline, flyadeal, has revealed its plans to launch new scheduled flights linking Jeddah with Dubai, alongside the resumption of Riyadh–Dubai services, set to commence on April 15, 2026.
This expansion is aimed at bolstering air travel connections between Saudi Arabia and the UAE, catering to the needs of both corporate and leisure travelers.
The new Jeddah–Dubai route signifies flyadeal’s ongoing growth strategy within the UAE market, offering an initial schedule of three flights weekly. Concurrently, the airline will be reintroducing its Riyadh–Dubai International services, starting with daily flights and gradually ramping up to four flights each day.
Dubai continues to be a highly coveted destination for Saudi travelers. By establishing Jeddah as a direct link to Dubai International Airport, flyadeal is focused on providing enhanced convenience and flexibility for its passengers.
Jeddah, known as Saudi Arabia’s second-largest city and a pivotal commercial hub, also plays a vital role in facilitating religious tourism. Each year, millions of pilgrims traveling to Makkah and Madinah transit through the city, underscoring the strategic importance of the new route.
Lloyd Misquitta, Acting Chief Commercial Officer at flyadeal, emphasized the significance of this expansion, reaffirming the airline's dedication to improving travel options and regional connectivity. He mentioned that the Jeddah–Dubai route fits seamlessly into flyadeal’s larger vision for international growth.
