Ferrari F76: A Digital Hypercar That Marries Art, Technology and Racing Legacy

Post by : Bianca Hayes

Ferrari has pushed beyond metal and paint with the F76, an entirely digital hypercar delivered as an NFT. This first-of-its-kind creation represents the marque’s step into purely virtual automotive design, celebrating innovation, style and a long motorsport lineage.

Coming on the heels of Ferrari’s third straight win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the 499P, the F76 is not conceived for production or real-world driving. Instead, it serves as an exclusive collectible for members of Ferrari’s Hyperclub, offering a new way to experience the brand.

Under the direction of chief designer Flavio Manzoni — the mind behind the Daytona SP3 and LaFerrari — the F76 fuses Ferrari’s sculptural DNA with a cyberpunk edge. Its most striking feature is a twin-fuselage arrangement that isolates driver and passenger cockpits, while the car’s silhouette functions as an aerodynamic wing to enhance ground-effect performance. Vertical slits along the fenders, calling to mind concepts such as the F80, heighten its aggressive stance.

Inside, the two cockpits are linked by drive-by-wire systems so both occupants can share identical driving feedback in real time. Ferrari also employed generative design tools to optimize aerodynamic flow and structural form, all while retaining the visual cues that define a Maranello creation.

The name F76 is a nod to Ferrari’s first Le Mans triumph in 1949, achieved by Luigi Chinetti and Lord Selsdon — a connection that ties this digital experiment back to the company’s storied racing past. By offering the F76 as an NFT, Ferrari invites collectors and fans to engage with its championship history through a distinctly modern lens.
