The Ajman Transport Authority has announced that a total of 30,378 public transport journeys were made in the first quarter of 2026, indicating a notable rise in public transportation utilization throughout the emirate. This increase underscores a growing trust among customers in the quality and dependability of the services offered.
Engineer Sami Ali Al Jallaf, the Executive Director of the Public Transport and Licensing Corporation at the Authority, remarked that these statistics reflect a consistent evaluation of operational performance and a robust dedication to enhancing service quality. He highlighted that the Authority is committed to improving efficiency while catering to the evolving needs of users.
Further, he pointed out that efforts are underway to bolster the public transport framework and to raise service standards significantly. These initiatives aim to promote seamless mobility and deliver a secure and organized travel experience for residents’ daily transportation needs.
