In Economy Class, travelers will experience the lightweight Safran Z400 seats designed for maximum comfort on long flights, featuring adjustable headrests and enhanced tech functionality.

The aircraft undergoing retrofitting will be equipped with Panasonic’s Astrova in-flight entertainment system, showcasing 4K OLED HDR10+ displays and Spatial Audio for an unforgettable audio experience. Extensive Fleet Modernization Plan
Since 2021, Emirates has been diligently working on its retrofit program, now encompassing 219 aircraft. Refurbishing each A380 takes approximately 22 days, whereas the 777s need around 18 days, with two upgraded planes making their way into service each month. This ambitious strategy guarantees that passengers enjoy a modernized travel experience throughout Emirates’ expansive global network.
