Dubai Unveils 2026 Cultural Creators Initiative

The Dubai Press Club, in collaboration with the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, has rolled out the latest iteration of the Dubai Content Creators Programme, designed to enhance cultural and creative digital content that embodies the essence, heritage, and values of Dubai.

This initiative seeks to bolster Dubai's vibrant creative landscape by fostering emerging media talent. The program aims to equip creators with advanced skills in storytelling, digital production, and connecting with audiences, utilizing contemporary media methodologies and international best practices.

Registration for the program has officially commenced, encouraging content creators to craft high-quality cultural narratives that spotlight Dubai’s rich cultural fabric and creative milestones. Interested participants can sign up via the Dubai Press Club.

Her Excellency Mona Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and President of the Dubai Press Club, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership with Dubai Culture, emphasizing the critical role of creators in narrating Dubai’s story to a global audience.

She noted that the Dubai Content Creators Programme serves as a pivotal platform for unveiling and cultivating creative talent capable of delivering meaningful and authentic content that aligns with Dubai’s aspirations and cultural essence.

Her Excellency Hala Badri, Director General of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, remarked that the initiative supports talent across the creative landscape and inspires creators to materialize their ideas into significant projects that enhance Dubai's creative ecosystem.

She further stated that generating cultural content is a fundamental aspect of the creative economy, playing a substantial role in sculpting Dubai’s innovative future. According to her, the program will empower creators to tell inspiring narratives about Dubai's rich history and achievements through contemporary digital formats.

Scheduled from June 8 to June 19, 2026, the program will comprise 40 hours of specialized workshops and interactive experiences. Participants will gain insights into content generation for leading digital platforms, visual storytelling, effective audience engagement strategies, and the utilization of cutting-edge technologies, including AI-enhanced content creation tools.

The workshops will be facilitated in partnership with leading digital platforms and seasoned industry professionals.

Maryam Al Mulla, Director of the Dubai Press Club, conveyed that this collaboration with Dubai Culture for the program's third edition aims to deepen participants' understanding of AI-driven content creation while honing their creative and professional skills through hands-on training.

This new phase of the Dubai Content Creators Programme builds on the successes of previous editions, with the first focusing on economic content in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Economy and the second targeting health and science content with Dubai Health.
