Dubai Unveils Exclusive Women-Only Beach With 24-Hour Swimming

The city of Dubai has celebrated the launch of the initial phase of its ambitious Al Mamzar Beaches redevelopment project, showcasing a contemporary seaside locale that includes an exclusive beach for women, round-the-clock night swimming options, various water sports, and the region's inaugural floating walkway.

Inaugurated by Dubai Municipality on May 5, this project represents a significant investment of AED 500 million aimed at transforming Khor Al Mamzar.

Covering an expansive 2.75 million square feet, the revamped coastline intends to enhance the beach-going experience for both residents and visitors. Officials emphasized that the project aims to prioritize safety and accessibility while offering family-oriented amenities and modern recreational activities.

A standout feature is the dedicated women-only beach area designed to provide a secure and comfortable atmosphere for female guests. Additionally, the 24-hour night swimming facility boasts cutting-edge lighting technology and safety measures, allowing swimmers to enjoy the beach safely after dark.

The new offerings also include state-of-the-art water sports services and a pioneering floating walkway, presenting a one-of-a-kind experience along the stunning coastline.

The redevelopment furthermore incorporates jogging and biking trails, playgrounds for children, beautifully landscaped areas, a variety of restaurants and cafes, as well as upgraded public facilities aiming to foster cultural and recreational activities.

Officials noted that the Al Mamzar Beaches initiative is integral to Dubai's broader strategy to enhance community spaces and reinforce the city's status as a premier global tourist hub.
