It begins with Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) making her way to her office lift amid a vibrant and bustling atmosphere. Just as the lift doors begin to close, Andrea 'Andy' Sachs (Anne Hathaway) steps in with a cheerful smile, greeting, "Miranda." Proving her growth, Miranda graciously moves aside, quipping, "Took you long enough." The teaser concludes with Andy emanating confidence behind her sunglasses as the doors shut.

Celebrating her 43rd birthday, Anne Hathaway posted the teaser on Instagram with the caption, "It’s everyone’s birthday. #43 #DWP2." Fans couldn't contain their enthusiasm, with one remarking, "So gorgeous! I’m excited to see this! It’s bound to be a hit!" Another commented, "Eager to watch Miranda and Andy together again!"
