Authorities identified the affected product as a 50-gram loose-leaf tea package with UPC number 101202100502 and code 000CHA831216. The CFIA has classified the issue as a serious food recall and advised customers to immediately stop using the product. Consumers have been told not to consume, sell, serve, or distribute the tea. Instead, they should either throw it away or return it to the place of purchase.

Health experts say allergic reactions linked to tree nuts can range from mild symptoms to life-threatening emergencies.
