Ajman Chamber Highlights UAE Franchise Ambitions at Expo 2026 in China

The Ajman Chamber took part in the China Franchise Expo and the World Franchise Council Annual Meeting 2026, held from May 27 to 31 in Beijing, aiming to enhance international economic partnerships and foster franchise growth.

Represented by Maher Tarish Al Alili, a Board Member and Vice President of the Emirates Association for Franchise Development (FAD), the chamber engaged with participants from 47 nations, including business leaders, government representatives, international firms, investors, franchise entities, consultants, and specialized solution providers.

Al Alili remarked that the chamber's presence underscores its dedication to uncovering new investment avenues, sharing knowledge, and advancing the franchise sector. He emphasized efforts to position Ajman as a prime location for global franchise brands and businesses.

He pointed out the franchise sector's vital role in driving business growth, knowledge transfer, and brand enhancement. Franchising also paves the way for strategic alliances and international investments, bolstering entrepreneurship, job creation, and economic sustainability.

Al Alili also shed light on the increasing influence of artificial intelligence in the franchise realm, stating that the UAE's commitment to AI is unlocking fresh opportunities. He noted that AI can enhance operational effectiveness, facilitate data-informed decisions, and amplify the competitive edge of franchise brands.

Ajman Chamber remains focused on promoting the franchise sector as a strategic avenue for expanding business operations and cultivating high-value investment prospects. The chamber collaborates with the Emirates Association for Franchise Development, among others, to initiate programs that foster a franchise culture and support entrepreneurs and SMEs.

During the China Franchise Expo and World Franchise Council sessions, numerous panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities took place, centered on the future trajectory of the franchise industry. Key issues discussed included global expansion, digital transformation, AI integration, supply chain evolution, brand development, customer engagement, operational effectiveness, and franchise compliance.

Participants also examined opportunities across sectors such as food services, beauty, after-sales services, and marketing, underscoring the increasing significance of innovation and worldwide collaboration within the franchise sector.
