During the Milken Institute Global Conference, a premier forum for leaders in policy, investment, and innovation, His Excellency Mansoor Ibrahim Al Mansoori urged global businesses, investors, and innovators to collaborate with Abu Dhabi in crafting next-generation healthcare solutions powered by artificial intelligence (AI).

In a session titled “Reimagining Healthcare, for Abu Dhabi and Beyond” alongside Diane Brady, Al Mansoori emphasized that the emirate is fostering a healthcare system prioritizing prevention, early identification, and real-time health tracking over conventional treatment models.

He characterized Abu Dhabi as a global laboratory for AI-integrated healthcare progress, bolstered by a cohesive digital health framework. According to him, AI accelerates drug discovery by integrating diverse data sets like genotype, phenotype, and wearable device inputs into a singular smart platform.

Al Mansoori described this system as a real-world evidence engine that empowers companies and healthcare providers to assess product effectiveness and patient outcomes instantly.

He also highlighted the significance of predictive healthcare, asserting that future healthcare systems must be proactive in identifying health issues at early stages before they escalate into severe ailments. Abu Dhabi's AI-driven healthcare platform amalgamates various medical data types, enabling authorities to oversee and optimize the healthcare sector efficiently.

During the session, Al Mansoori further explained the role of AI Agents within Abu Dhabi's Unified Medical Operations Command Centre (UMOC), which he referred to as the “health brain” for the emirate's healthcare ecosystem.

He noted that AI Agents have bolstered operational efficacy by facilitating real-time incident detection, speeding up emergency responses, and initiating medical care during patient transport. Additionally, this intelligent system fosters a continuous intelligence loop that enhances healthcare planning and resilience.

Al Mansoori concluded that Abu Dhabi's enduring healthcare strategy is rooted in economic diversification, technological investments, infrastructure enhancement, and human capital development. He affirmed that the emirate aspires to establish a healthcare model that “cares before it cures” by improving access to health data and preventive care resources.

On the margins of the conference, Al Mansoori engaged with global leaders across AI, biotechnology, genomics, pediatrics, longevity, and investment during a special dinner hosted under the Future Health – A Global Initiative by Abu Dhabi platform.

Discussions revolved around the development of anticipatory healthcare systems, enhancing access to predictive healthcare, and exploring innovative financing frameworks aimed at achieving better long-term health outcomes worldwide.
