Fujairah is now showcasing the third iteration of the Zayed National Museum’s travelling exhibition, providing a unique opportunity for residents to explore the UAE's Islamic and cultural heritage. This exhibition, titled Introducing Zayed National Museum: Rooted in Faith, will run until 18 December 2025, emphasizing the integration of Islamic values into Emirati life.

Offering a glimpse of what’s to come, the exhibition highlights the vision of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Founding Father, along with Fujairah’s ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, underlining their pivotal roles in fostering unity and growth within the nation.

Guests can witness an array of fascinating artefacts, such as a 16th-century Ming dynasty incense canister emblazoned with al-Shahada and Celadon pottery fragments excavated from Bidya, symbolizing centuries of cultural interaction. Architectural models showcase significant structures like the Bidya Mosque and the Zayed National Museum, elaborating on the country's architectural legacy. Additionally, a captivating ghaf tree installation invites visitors to learn about the formative years of Sheikh Zayed in Al Ain, while an interactive display features a Late Mamluk Qur’an from the 16th century, complete with detailed texts and notes.

This iteration in Fujairah follows successful exhibitions held at Dubai’s Etihad Museum and Ajman Museum, making the UAE's rich cultural narratives accessible to more residents and visitors. The travelling exhibition aims to immerse attendees in the stories and artifacts that will be key to the upcoming flagship museum, enriching their understanding of the UAE’s deep history and values.
