An enticing prize pool of AED 150,000 has been introduced to motivate runners, while the overarching goal remains rooted in humanitarian efforts.
During a press conference on May 1, key figures like Lt. General (Ret.) Mohammed Hilal Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Supreme Organising Committee, alongside Ahmed Sari Al Mazrouei from the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, underlined the initiative's significance and prospective worldwide influence.
In memory of the cherished Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Zayed Charity Run has engaged over 700,000 participants and amassed over $173 million for humanitarian and healthcare projects globally since its inception.
Organisers assert that this event transcends being a mere race; it embodies the ethos of giving, inclusion, and community engagement, reinforcing ties among nations. This initiative continues to merge athleticism with altruistic efforts, leaving a positive imprint on communities worldwide.
