Trump’s Greenland Remarks Propel Gold and Defense
Gold and European defense stocks surge as fears of geopolitical tensions rise from Trump’s Greenland
On Tuesday afternoon at Mosaic Stadium in Regina, the Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation revealed the victor of the Grey Cup 50/50 draw after a brief two-day delay. Wade Gasmo emerged as the lucky winner of the unprecedented jackpot.
By the conclusion of Sunday night’s Grey Cup, the 50/50 prize had hit a staggering $2,005,107, allowing Gasmo to take home a remarkable half. Coach Corey Mace reached out promptly to congratulate Gasmo following the draw.
"This marks the largest 50/50 jackpot ever recorded in CFL history, and we owe it all to our incredible fans — thank you, Rider Nation!" stated Mace on the Riders’ 50/50 platform.
An overwhelming demand for tickets during the Grey Cup led to issues with duplicate purchases, causing a temporary halt in the draw as the service provider worked to validate the tickets.
“The influx of purchases resulted in some individuals being billed multiple times,” noted the Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation, assuring that all erroneous charges will be refunded.
Earlier, the foundation had also announced several loyalty prize winners alongside an early bird winner. The Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation aims to foster education, health, and grassroots football across the province.
